Dear Parents:
Thank you for being such an important influence on our program in the past. Last year, we raised over
$150,000/NT for the orphanage in Myanmar! We were a
tremendous help to the orphanage. With the money we raised, the less fortunate children were able to have
the necessary items and help that was needed.
In order to raise the necessary funds this year, we are going to have a one time fundraiser! It will be the GCA
BASKETBALL MARATHON. All proceeds will go to benefit the Myanmar orphanage.
The marathon will be a fun-filled day for each student. All we are asking each student to raise to participate
in the Basketball Marathon is $3,000/NT. When each student raises $3,000/NT they will not only be able to
participate with their class in the Basketball Marathon;, they will receive a marathon t-shirt and the class that
raises the most money will receive a pizza party!

We have included a sponsor sheet for the student to ask for sponsors. You are the key to helping these less
fortunate children of Myanmar. Each class has set their goal, please partner with us and help us raise our
